The adapter enables the connection of USB-C data devices (such as a flash drive, external HDD/SSD chassis or USB hub) to a computer, notebook or tablet equipped with a standard USB-A 3.0/3.1 connector.

The adapter supports high-speed data transfer (10 Gbps) and is therefore an ideal intermediary between the new USB-C accessory and the standard USB-A port.

Warning: this adapter is not capable of transmitting video due to the technological limitations of the USB-A port, nor does it support notebook/tablet power supply.
